Today’s Most Interesting Wine Industry Data
“While other wine regions suffered declines in tasting room traffic and sales in recent months, direct-to-consumer data indicates Lodi has proven more resilient. According to the 2024 WineBusiness Monthly Tasting Room Survey, Napa Valley tasting rooms had the highest median tasting fee at $60 for a basic experience while Sonoma was somewhat more affordable at $35 for a basic tasting. The lowest median tasting room price was for tasting rooms in California that weren’t located in Napa, Sonoma or the Central Coast; in places like Lodi, the median tasting fee is just $20.”
