“2025 wine M&A activity has been tempered by the combination of macroeconomic uncertainty and challenging wine industry trends. Those with a long-term view have transacted where there is a strategic fit. As of Aug-25, there was one larger wine M&A transaction (>$250M). However, overall, most of the transactions have tended to be smaller and a lower volume vs. the same period in 2024.”
