Today’s Most Interesting Wine Industry Data
“The all-important OND season is upon us and this year, the stakes feel a bit higher. Tasting room and DTC managers are facing an uphill battle. According to WineBusiness Analytics and Sovos ShipCompliant, total winery DTC shipment value in the final quarter of 2024 totaled $1.49 million, accounting for nearly 38% of total channel value that year. Shipment volume in the period came to 2.1 million cases, which represented 33% of all cases shipped. However, through 2025 shipments have been, on average, down 8% by value and 15% by volume.”
