“2025 will prove to be an excellent vintage for bordeaux but it’s another dastardly small one, unfortunately, with low yields. 2025 is the smallest crop since 1991 – as was, in fact, 2024. But while 2024 was a relatively wet year, 2025 was dry and hot throughout much of the growing season. It is the weather, after all, which largely determines the quality and size of the crop.”
