“Despite the record gallons available and slower consumer demand, the bulk market is active due to the increase in opportunities of wine for sale and lower asking prices of key varieties, but there are fewer buyers in the market than there have been since 2018. The good news is that the quality of 2023 vintage wines is being reported as exceptional given the extended hang time and this higher quality could stimulate additional demand for new or growing programs.”
