“Heading into 2025, the beverage industry was already bracing for new tariffs under a second Trump administration, particularly after the serious blow dealt during Trump’s last trade war, which kicked off in 2018. It’s unsurprising, then, that international or domestic tax and tariff policies were cited as the biggest concern among survey respondents by far; 77% say they are “very concerned” about tariffs, compared to just 50% in 2023.”
