“With their 12.9% increase in average price per bottle shipped to $19.93, large wineries finally got their pricing back to 2019 levels. Although medium-sized wineries took a more modest than average 4.9% increase in bottle prices in 2023, the volume of shipments decreased by a higher-than-average 7.9% from 2022. In 2023 smallish wineries accounted for 47.3% and 42.1% of the value and volume of the DtC shipping channel, respectively.”
