“Sales of domestic table and sparkling wines through NIQ off-premise outlets totaled $1.2 billion in the four weeks ended Nov. 30, down 5% versus a year ago. Domestic table and sparkling wine sales fell 4%...Despite the popularity of white wines over the past 18 months, Cabernet Sauvignon remains the top-selling wine by value at NIQ off-premise outlets. It is the second varietal by volume after Chardonnay, selling 26.7 million cases during the latest 52 weeks.”
