“Across the dataset, direct-to-consumer accounts for slightly more than 70% of total revenue, with the remaining share coming primarily from wholesale. Within direct-to-consumer, the wine club and tasting room remain the dominant contributors, with internet sales representing a much smaller portion of total activity. That structure has remained largely unchanged in the past decade outside of COVID disruptions. There’s little movement between channels, and no emerging channel is taking share in a meaningful way.”
