“While some analysts in 2024 predicted wholesale inventory-to-sales measures would return to expected norms, that’s not been the case, and as of this writing, we are near-record inventory levels. At the wholesale level, the departure of RNDC from California might have a positive impact by eliminating some brands that were already on life support, clearing the way for better brands to take up that space. It will be an interesting next two years.”
