| Cannonball Wine Company is Exclusive U.S. Importer Healdsburg, CA – World-renowned Astrolabe Wines from New Zealand are now available for purchase in the U.S., exclusively represented by Cannonball Wine Company. The award-winning portfolio of Astrolabe Wines includes a Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir from the premiere and esteemed Marlborough region of New Zealand. "When we were looking for a partner, we wanted to find an importer that shared our values, aspirations, passion and enthusiasm,” said Jason Yank, GM of Astrolabe Wines. “Cannonball Wine Company is exactly what we were looking for and we are very excited to be working with them.” The two brands were introduced by their mutual Canadian import company, Rogers and Company. “We were not looking to get into the import business, but when I sat down to meet Jason for a friendly meal, there was instant chemistry,” said Yoav Gilat, Founder of Cannonball Wine Company. “Once you add our strong established network into the mix and the compatibility of our two companies, you have all the makings for a promising and successful partnership.” The Astrolabe Wines entered the U.S. market with esteemed awards; twice earning the title of ‘Best Sauvignon Blanc in the World’ from the International Wine Show in London and receiving the highest award for their 2011 Pinot Gris from the SF International Wine Competition. They have also received high scores from well-known U.S. wine publications. The wines are now available in fifteen major wine markets throughout the U.S. Although the main focus of distribution is on-premise, they are also sold to select fine wine retailers throughout the country. The suggested retail price for the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris is $23, and the Pinot Noir retails for $28.
