(Napa, California) —The Polaris Wines portfolio is now available statewide in California through its new distribution relationships with Monterey Bay Wine Company (Northern and Central California) and Garber & Co. (Southern California). The Polaris Wines portfolio includes wines made by Bernard Portet: Heritance from the Napa Valley launched in 2011 and Ñandú, an Argentinean Malbec blend that he has been producing since 2004.
“Heritance from the Napa Valley represents one family and nine generations in wine, as well as the fact that over the course of his career, my father has made wine on four continents” said Polaris National Sales Manager Olivier Portet the son of Bernard Portet. “Ñandú is a Malbec-based blend that my father and I first made together back in 2004 and I am excited to be selling it again. Monterey Bay Wine Company and Garber & Co., both share the same commitment to both quality and representation as Polaris Wines so it is a natural fit.”
The Polaris Wines brands that are now available throughout California are the 2010 Heritance Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley ($18 National Suggested Retail), the 2008 Heritance Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley ($28 National Suggested Retail) and the 2009 Ñandú Malbec Mendoza, Argentina ($15 National Suggested Retail).
