Tony Glorioso and Scotty Barbour join Spring Mountain Vineyard

Spring Mountain Vineyard has added two veteran wine executives to its Sales & Marketing team. George Peterson, General Manager, today announced the arrival of two experienced executives at Spring Mountain Vineyard: Tony Glorioso, Director- National Sales & Marketing; and Kenneth “Scotty” Barbour, Director - International Sales, Strategy & Key Accounts have joined Spring Mountain Vineyard. Tony comes to Spring Mountain Vineyard from Tuck Beckstoffer Wines where he was Vice President/National Sales. Previously, he held similar positions at Caymus, Kuleto Estate, Rosenblum Cellars, Robert Mondavi and Franciscan.

Scotty comes to Spring Mountain Vineyard from Opus One where, for 11 years, he held the position of Director of Domestic and Worldwide Sales & Marketing. Previously, he held the position of SVP/Group Manager at Kobrand Corporation.

“I am thrilled that we were able to secure the services of these two executives,” George Peterson explained. “Both Tony and Scotty have long records of accomplishment in the premium wine industry and will be of great value in helping Spring Mountain Vineyard achieve its full potential,” he added.

Spring Mountain Vineyard is an 845 acre, privately owned wine estate situated on the steep slopes of Napa Valley’s Spring Mountain. Its 225 acres of vineyard are planted primarily to Bordeaux grape varieties, and farmed organically using a variety of innovative methods. The vineyards, which were first established in the 19th century under the names Miravalle, Chevalier, La Perla and Alba, are now one vineyard producing exclusively estate wines. Spring Mountain Vineyard is known for distinctive, long-lived red wines - its signature Bordeaux-style blend, Elivette, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Limited production Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay are also produced.
