Greg Ralston Joins Wilson Daniels Ltd.

ST. HELENA, CA (July 15, 2010) – Wilson Daniels Ltd. announces the appointment of Greg Ralston as vice president of portfolio development and strategic initiatives, effective August 2, 2010.

In his new role, Ralston will be responsible for new business development. He will also take the lead in implementing key strategic initiatives for the company, including identifying and building new business opportunities and revenue streams and creating image-enhancing company programs. Additionally, Ralston will assist the company’s sales and brand management teams in elevating best practices for its existing properties.

“Wilson Daniels is fortunate to be gaining the expertise of such a well-respected leader in the fine wine business. Greg will play an integral role in enhancing and executing many of the company’s critical long-term strategic initiatives,” said Mike Jaeger, president and chief operating officer of Wilson Daniels.

Prior to joining Wilson Daniels, Ralston spent the past twenty years with one of the most acclaimed wineries in the Napa Valley, Chateau Montelena, most recently as managing director. During his tenure there, he managed all administrative, marketing and sales functions and served as a principal of the business with the Barrett family.

When he is not working, Ralston is an active fly fisherman and pilot. He has served on many industry-related boards and is currently vice-chairman of the board of governors of California Trout, a statewide watershed conservancy organization. He is a graduate of Portland State University with a degree in economics and has also attended the University of California at Davis wine executive program. Ralston resides in Santa Rosa with his wife Gail.
