Submitted By: Lauren Trieschmann, November 29, 2017
Napa, California (November 29, 2017) – Acumen Wines, an Atlas Peak estate specializing in high-end Cabernet Sauvignon, has announced the addition of Tiffany Kenny to its expanding team. Kenny is coming onboard as Acumen’s Director of Consumer Sales and will oversee hospitality and events at the Acumen Wine Gallery on First Street in downtown Napa, as well as the development of the Acumen Summit Society Wine Club, PEAK Cabernet Sauvignon allocations, and eCommerce channels.

Kenny is a Napa native and 15-year veteran of the wine industry. Prior to joining the Acumen team, she held a senior level direct-to-consumer leadership position at Patz & Hall Winery for 11 years, overseeing all consumer-direct and brand marketing initiatives. Kenny earned her MBA with an emphasis on marketing from the University of Phoenix and is a Class 27 graduate of Leadership Napa Valley. She first began her career in the wine industry with positions at The Hess Collection and Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars.
“We are very excited to have Tiffany join the Acumen team,” said Gordon Waggoner, Director of Sales for Acumen. “Her proven experience and leadership will be vital as we continue to grow our DTC business at the Acumen Wine Gallery in downtown Napa, as well as the upcoming development of our estate on Atlas Peak.”

Acumen was founded in 2012 when Eric Yuan and his family acquired a prized 32-acre vineyard on Atlas Peak from Dr. Jan Krupp of Stagecoach Vineyard fame. In searching for a vineyard that could produce world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, they considered a number of top Napa Valley vineyards before settling on Krupp’s property in the rugged Atlas Peak AVA in the Vaca Mountains of eastern Napa Valley. A second, 84-acre vineyard, just a half mile up the road, was acquired in 2014. Both vineyards are now certified organic. Additional information is available at www.acumenwine.com.
