San Luis Obispo, CA - San Luis Obispo Vintners Association announced the dates of their popular spring wine event. Their 20th annual Roll Out the Barrels Weekend will be held April 29th – May 2nd, 2010 with over twenty participating wineries in the San Luis Obispo Wine Region. This four day event consists of 3 major components: Barrels In The Plaza, Winemaker Dinners, and the popular 2-day Passport to Wine Country.
Thursday April 29th, 5:30 – 7:30 Barrels In the Plaza
In San Luis Obispo’s historic downtown Mission Plaza SLO they will feature ‘grown here, made here’ with the Perfect Pairings! from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. SLO Vintner’s will partner with local chefs to go side by side and pair up the perfect culinary bites with the perfect sampling of wines. This will be the ultimate way to celebrate a complete culinary experience right from the terroir of San Luis Obispo. Also, in celebration of their 20th year, tickets to this event are just $20 if purchased prior to April 20th or until sold out! After April 20th, tickets will be $30 each.

Roll Out the Barrels Passport Weekend
The annual two day passport portion (Saturday and Sunday), will allow visitors to San Luis Obispo entry to over 20 wineries where they will experience wine and food pairings, reserve barrel tastings, entertainment and special discounts.
