(January 12, 2010) – Jim DeBonis, Chief Executive Officer of Ascentia Wine Estates, today announced the appointment of Todd Devincenzi as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. The two previously worked together at Allied Domecq and Beam Wine Estates. “Todd is the perfect choice for us and will help lead our company in this competitive and challenging market,” comments DeBonis. “Todd brings exceptional leadership and proven results to this important role,” said DeBonis. “He has prior experience on some of our brands and we are confident he will positively impact our sales and marketing initiatives, resulting in even greater sustainable growth for our portfolio.” Devincenzi most recently was with C. Mondavi & Sons as their Vice President of Sales. His career in the wine industry also includes Allied Domecq and Beam Wine Estates, where he was the Director of National Off-Premise Accounts. A graduate of California State University Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Devincenzi held management positions with Schering-Plough, Nestle Waters, Braun, Inc and Heublein. “I am excited to be working with these great brands again and along with W.J. Deutsch & Sons, continue driving the business forward,” says Devincenzi. Devincenzi currently resides in St. Helena, California with his wife Jeanne, and three children.
