Napa, CA – Mendocino Wine Company and the Thornhill family, owners of Parducci Wine Cellars, Paul Dolan Vineyards, and Moniker Wine Estates, have announced the hiring of Michael Lindell as North Central Division Manager and Jim Abbotts as Western Division Manager. Both will report to John Girty, Vice President National Sales.
With over 20 years of experience in the beverage business, Lindell brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position. From stints with Ernest and Julio Gallo, Miller Brewing Company, Seagram Beverage, Proximo Spirits, and Terlato Artisan Brands, and more, Lindell knows his way around the beverage industry.
Abbotts has been in beverage sales in the western states for 15 years, including seven years at Young’s Market and six years at Delicato Family Vineyards. Most recently he spent two years with Kenwood Vineyards, where he increased chain sales in California by 12%.
