Women for WineSense workshop, “Your Network Determines Your Net Worth,” adds new sponsors

The Napa|Sonoma chapter of Women for WineSense (WWS) will hold its annual professional members-only event on June 12, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Chimney Rock Winery in Napa, with these new sponsors: Bank of America, Employers Select Insurance Services, Inc., Brotemarkle, Davis & Co. LLP, Kempkey Insurance, Stark Miller Financial Benefits Group and Wine Secrets. Maile Collmer will be the featured guest speaker and is franchise owner of The Referral Institute Contra Costa (http://referralinstitutecontracosta.com/), training workshop attendees that “Your Network Determines Your Net Worth.” Non-professional members are welcome to attend the event provided they join WWS before or at the event.

Chapter president Christine L. Mueller stated, “Over the past two years this event has become quite a hit with our members. Not only has Chimney Rock Winery provided a beautiful setting and fantastic food and wine each year, but we’ve also been able to raise the bar on the quality of the speakers and trainers year over year.” She further explained, “Maile Collmer has been recognized internationally as a leading expert speaker and trainer on networking skills and referral marketing strategies. We are thrilled she will be able to work with our members teaching these essential skills to further develop their careers in the wine industry.”

WWS’ Business Development Director, Shannon Zajec, is encouraged by the outpouring of support by local sponsors, stating, “Without the financial support of sponsoring local businesses, such as Bank of America, Employers Select Insurance Services, Brotemarkle, Davis and Co., Kempkey Insurance, Stark Miller and Wine Secrets, the Napa/Sonoma chapter of Women for WineSense could not offer this high caliber event to its members at such a reasonable ticket price. It’s a true testament to the value these businesses place on making these programs available to local business women (and men) to advance their careers through ongoing training. We’re very grateful for their contributions.”

WWS’ daytime event includes a continental breakfast, business networking, handouts and interactive training exercises, along with a gourmet lunch prepared by Creative Palate Works’ Executive Chef, Rodger R. Babel, served with Chimney Rock wines on the terrace. Attendees will also enjoy a 30% discount off their Chimney Rock wine purchases at the event only. Concluding the event will be WWS’ silent auction benefiting their annual Scholarship Fund drive.
