New and Improved Daily News Fetch

Coming April 3, 2023

We’ve been busy working on a new look and feel for the Daily News Fetch that will go live on Monday, April 3, 2023. Here are the highlights of what we’ve improved:

  • Much easier to read – new typography and more whitespace around content

  • More visual – thumbnails let you skim articles before you click on the link to read in full

  • Mobile friendly – fully optimized for reading on your phone or tablet

Here’s a sneak peek of the new look and feel:

As part of the refresh, we’re also slightly modernizing the name of the newsletter as well. On Monday the Daily News Fetch becomes the Daily News Feed.

You might be wondering what’s behind these changes. After 14 years, Wine Industry Insight has a new owner and publisher – Kevin Merritt. Founder and former owner and publisher Lewis Perdue will be around for a while in a transitionary role. Long-time editor Becca Yeamans continues to curate the daily newsletter.

An experienced operator of tech companies, Kevin is passionate about wine and the wine industry. Last year he completed the 3-year viticulture and enology program at the Northwest Wine Academy, has worked hands on through two harvests at a Washington winery, and is an aspiring winemaker.

Be on the lookout for the new and improved Daily News Feed and the relaunch of the Wine Industry Insight website Monday morning.
