NEWS FETCH PLAYLIST:

While creating this issue, Lew liked this song best: Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap.

TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

Lew said: This is a solid base hit and good spaghetti wine from Trader Joe's.

It certainly doesn't merit being called reserve or having a fancy lot number attached to it.

I didn't taste any of the flavors listed on the label but I did find it pleasant, medium bodied with some blueberry and almost Concord grape flavors. If this was anywhere near oak, perhaps the teabag string broke.

While the label was kind of overboard stuffy, this was a pleasant wine and a good value at $9.99.

 REVIEW POLICY:

For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
