TODAY'S FEATURED WINE
Lewis Perdue's Rating of Orin Swift: Red Blend: : : non vintage:
Another Orin Swift/Dave Phinney hit off the top of the center field fence.
Seems to be a Grenache/Tempranillo blend with maybe some Mouvedre (Monastrell).
Deep ruby red with intense black cherries, plums and spices. Smooth but with a Louisville slugger finish.
$16.99 with the Safeway 6-bottle discount and worth every penny.
For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
