TODAY'S FEATURED WINE
Lewis Perdue's Rating of Kendall Jackson: Chardonnay: : Grand Estate: 2012: United States
Sour, bitter, thin, harsh, far from grand, and certainly not worthy of the word "reserve."
At $21.50 retail it is a pale shadow of the Hogue at $13.50. My wife got sold this as a recommendation from a grocery store wine aisle guy.
He is off her list and so is KJ because she feels totally cheated by them both.

For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
