TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

NOTE: You can get a night-before preview of the featured wines on Instagram or this Facebook Author page.

As always, SavvyTaste.Com has my full description and opinion of this wine: Lewis Perdue's Rating of Folie A Deux: Malbec: Mendoza: : 2012: United States

This is palate-scalding proof that not every winery is capable of capitalizing on the Malbec stampede. Begins with a nose redolent of flaming plastic. That burns off to a mouth full of medicine-like harshness with tincture of benzoin overtones. The back label says "Imported and bottled by..." which means it probably arrived in a big bladder. Should leave the same way. I don't remember ever spending $9.99 this foolishly.
